 GENERAL INFORMATION

·          The Chalets

All the chalets are well equipped with the Fridges, Cutlery & Crockery, Coffee & Tea Facilities, Toasters, Microwaves, Linen & Towels, T.V., Hairdryer, Kettle Braai with charcoal and Fire Lighters on timber deck, 2-plate gas stove at Luxury & Standard Chalet, Gas Burner at the Bush Huts, CD player at Luxury & Standard Chalets.

The contents of the soft drinks are for your convenience; please leave the bottles in the fridge.

We kindly ask not to adjust the air-conditioner below 21 degrees, as the high humidity will cause the air-conditioner not to work effectively.

Please do not adjust the television programming or channels.  For assistance contact our duty managers.

Please note that guests will be held responsible for all the equipement provided in the chalets, report any broken, damaged or missing items to the Reception Office.

·          Smoking is not allowed in the Chalets ! ! !

All the Chalets are non- smoking.  Guests can smoke outside on the timber decks in front of their chalets, where ashtrays are  provided. We kindly ask to adhere to this rule.  Guests may be asked to vacate the premises and may be liable to a fine.

·          Housekeeping

The chalets are serviced once a day in the mornings by our Housekeeping staff.

Please do not hand staff member’s food or money, please leave staff rewards at the office, due to security procedures.

·          Swimming pool   

Guests are welcome to make use of the swimming pool.  Please make use of your own swimming towel around the swimming pool and not the towels provided in the chalets.  Please take extra care wile using glassware around the swimming pool.  No eating & drinking inside the swimming pool.  Children are only allowed to swim under parent supervision.

·          Arrival & Departure

Time of Arrival:  From 14:00, no later than 22:00.

Rooms must be vacated by 11h00

Late check-outs may be arranged if possible

Please settle your account during office hours the day before departure in full, before departure or contact our duty managers for special arrangements.

Please leave the key of the chalet in the door on departure (the gate is sensor controlled form the inside).

·          Reservations, Deposits & Cancellation

Bookings are subject to availabilities

Minimum of two night stay required during Long Week-ends and Special Events.

50 % deposit is required on all bookings within 24 hr’s when the reservation is made. 

The balance must be paid 7 day’s before arrival.

Reservations will only be guaranteed on receipt of a proof of payment or credit card details.

In the event of a cancellation:

Cancelled 30 – 15 day’s prior to arrival,                                              10 % deposit retained

Cancelled 14 – 8 day’s prior to arrival,                                                25 % deposit retained

Cancelled 7 day’s prior to arrival or No-Show,                   100 % deposit retained                                                       

Any alterations to the reservation, please inform us well in advance. 

·          Children

Children are welcome, but must be supervised by a responsible audlt at all times.

0 – 3 years stay free of charge

Children 4 - 12 years will be charged at R 175.00 in event if the room is occupied by two adults.                               

·          Reception Hours

Monday – Friday

08:00 – 13:00           &            14:00 – 16:00

Saturday & Sunday

09:00 – 12:00 (Or as Scheduled)

Afterhours Emergency, please contact our Duty Mangers. 

·          Entrance, Parking & Security

Right of admission is reserved to the property of Oppikoppi.  

Oppikoppi will not be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage to property or persons caused by what so every reason.

The gate is automatically censor controlled from the inside. 

The black remote control on your key ring is the control for the gate on your entry during your stay. 

Please note that guests will be held responsible for any damage or loss of the key and remote controll.

Parking is allocated as per number of your chalet. Each Chalet is allocated with one parking.

The chalets are equipped with a Security Alarm system with a 24hr Monitoring System.  If you do experience any trouble with security during your stay, please contact our duty managers. 

·          Restaurants

Oppikoppi does not have any restaurants on site but a Breakfast tray can be arranged only on request.  Please note that we do not serve breakfast on Week-ends & Publick Holiday’s.  Contact our Duty Managers for more information.

·          Oppikoppi Quad Bike & 4x4 Trails

Advanced and Scenic trails can be arranged from our premises.  Please contact our Reservations Office for more information.  Please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
